Turkish President Ardoan again spoke about Kashmir, India objected, Pakistan appreciated
Turkish President Rechep Tayyip Ardoan has once again raised the issue of Kashmir in the United Nations. India has objected to this, while Pakistan has appreciated it.
Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan wrote on Twitter - "We at the United Nations General Assembly once again commend President Ardoan for raising his voice in support of the rights of the Kashmiri people. Encouraged by the Turkish support of the legitimate struggle of the Kashmiri people Get."
Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi raised the issue of Kashmir in his speech on the 75th anniversary of the United Nations a day earlier.
Addressing the United Nations General Assembly, Ardoan said, "Kashmir conflict is very important for peace and stability in South Asia. This is still a burning issue. The situation has become more complicated since the special status of Jammu and Kashmir was abolished.
India has strongly objected to this trend of Ardoan. India's representative at the United Nations TS Trimurti has said, "We have seen President Ardoan's comment on the Union Territory of India, Jammu and Kashmir. It is an interference in the internal affairs of India and it is completely unacceptable for India. Turkey should learn to respect the sovereignty of another country.
The President of Turkey has said this through a recorded video message. India abolished the special status of Jammu and Kashmir on August 5 last year and divided the entire state into two union territories.
The President of Turkey also criticized the countries with the intention of opening an embassy in Jerusalem. Ardoan said that this is a violation of UN's proposal and international law.
The Turkish President said that doing so would further complicate the problem of the Palestinians. Last year too, Ardoआनan raised the issue of Kashmir while addressing the General Assembly of the United Nations.
Then Ardoan had said that peace, stability and prosperity in South Asia cannot be separated from Kashmir issue.
On Tuesday, addressing the 193 member countries, Ardoan once again raised the issue of Kashmir. Pakistan-administered Kashmir leader Masood Khan has welcomed this stance of Ardoan. He said that Turkey is the real friend of Pakistan.
Washington Post journalist Ishaan Tharoor wrote on Twitter about this attitude of Ardoan, "Ardoan is spearheading speech on injustice in Palestine, Kashmir and Nargorano carbach, but no word has come out about Weigar Muslims in Xinjiang."
Greece is soft on
Ardoआनan also spoke of tensions in the Mediterranean with Greece. Turkey is exploring oil and energy in the Mediterranean. Greece has strongly objected to this and said that Turkey is conducting an illegal search operation in its area.
France and Germany have also arrived with Greece. After this, President Ardoan also threatened France and Greece. But on Tuesday, Ardoan appeared liberal on this issue in the UN General Assembly. He said, "We want to resolve the entire dispute through dialogue with honesty." We want to settle the dispute on the basis of international rules and equality. ''
Ardoan also spoke about Palestine. He said, "The solution to this problem will be only after becoming an independent and sovereign country. While Ardoan's speech was going on, Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations Gilead Irdan went out. He boycotted Ardoan's speech and accused him of being anti-Jewish.
Ardoan said, "Ardoan is constantly lying and he is talking anti-Semitism." The whole world should know about the double standards of Ardoआनan. "Ardoआनan accused Israel of tyranny with the Palestinians. Ardoan has said in his speech that atrocities and attacks on Palestinians are the wounds of humanity.
Modi did not go to Turkey after becoming PM
Relations between India and Turkey have steadily deteriorated. After becoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited almost all the important countries of the Middle East but did not go to Turkey. On 20 October last year, the English newspaper The Hindu published a report that Modi was going to go to Turkey in the last months of 2019 but canceled the tour due to Ardoan's line on Kashmir in favor of Pakistan.
Then Turkish Ambassador to India Saqir Ozkan told The Hindu, "Our government hoped that PM Modi would come to Ankara. This was not only expected but it was also discussed recently. We are now waiting for some other date. According to the time of PM Modi in the coming months, a new date is waiting to be set. The Government of India has taken this decision but certainly there was a discussion about it.Also said that China had also criticized India on Kashmir but Chinese President Xi Jinping visited India.
Turkey's support in Kashmir and FATF are the main reasons for the bitterness in the relations between the two countries. When Turkey launched attacks on the Kurds in northern Syria, India also criticized Turkey for this and said that sovereignty should be respected.
India also canceled the deal to build a Navy support ship from Turkey's Anadolu shipyard in India. India took this step in response to Turkey's stand with Pakistan on Kashmir and FATF.
Turkey's deep friendship with Pakistan
Relations between Pakistan and Turkey have been much better than India. Both countries are Sunni dominated by the Islamic world. Ardoan has always had good relations with Pakistan.
When the army coup in Turkey against Ardoan failed in July 2016, Pakistan came out in favor of Ardoan. The then Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif supported Ardoan by calling. After this, Sharif also visited Turkey. Since then, the relations between Ardoan and Pakistan have become better.
Since 2017, Turkey has invested one billion dollars in Pakistan. Turkey is working on many projects in Pakistan. It has also been providing metrobus rapid transit system to Pakistan. Work is still going on for the proposed free trade agreement between the two countries.
If this agreement is reached between the two countries, then bilateral trade can increase from $ 90 million to $ 10 billion.
Turkish Airlines has also expanded a lot in Pakistan. Istanbul has developed into a regional aviation hub. Most Pakistanis go to the countries of the West via Turkey.
However, Pakistanis need a visa to travel to Turkey. If a free trade agreement is reached, the relationship between the two countries will be deeper. In recent years, tourists from the West and Europe have come down in Turkey, in which Turkey wants to attract tourists from Islamic countries.
Turkey has long been an economic and political model for Pakistan. But things have changed a lot over time. Former Pakistan Army chief and former President General Pervez Musharraf has been an admirer of Turkish founder Mustafa Kamal Pasha.
Musharraf has been praising Pasha's secular reforms and strict governance. The current Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan has been praising Ardoan.
In 2016, Emraan Khan called Ardoan a hero after he failed a coup in Turkey. Of course, Imran Khan also does not want that there should be an army coup against the political government in Pakistan, which is always feared in Pakistan.
Ardoan visits Pakistan
On 14 February last year, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, while addressing the Pakistan-Turkey Business Forum in Islamabad, said that Turkish President Ardoan will win if he contests in Pakistan.
When Imran Khan was saying this, Ardoan was also sitting there. Ardoan came on a two-day tour of Pakistan. During this visit, Ardoan addressed the Pakistani Parliament and during his address, the MPs thumped the table fiercely. While addressing Parliament, Ardoan said that Kashmir is as important for Pakistan as it is for Turkey.
Quoting this address, Imran Khan had said, "I can say with the claim that if Ardoan fought the next election in Pakistan, he would win comfortably." I saw in Parliament that MPs from the ruling party to the opposition were thumping the table when Ardoan was speaking. I have never seen before that on someone's address, there was applause in Parliament in this way. This proves to what extent Pakistan President wants Ardowan. ''
When Imran Khan was speaking like this, Turkish President Rechep Tayyip Ardoan was smiling. His delegation who came with Ardoan also started laughing.
