Turkey drought

Frightening images started to occur in our dams due to reasons such as dry summer months, high temperature and drought. Due to the intense evaporation of water in Lake Iznik Turkey's 5th largest lake, which was taken 70-80 meters. Fish deaths occurred in the Burdur Yapraklı dam as the water decreased. Water has been drawn from the Koruyucuköy Pond in Edirne due to extreme drought and agricultural irrigation. Water is given to the pond to prevent fish deaths. While the water level in Mumcular dam, which feeds Bodrum in Muğla, decreased to 28.5 percent, the water level of Sazlıdere dam in Istanbul decreased to 11.23 percent.
