Nawaz Sharif: No member of the party will meet military representatives at the individual, party or personal level in the future

Former Prime Minister and PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif has said that no member of his party will meet representatives of military and related agencies at individual, party or personal level in future.

In a message posted on the social networking site Twitter on Thursday, the former prime minister said: The meanings of will are given. This game must stop now. "

It may be recalled that on Wednesday night, Pakistan Army spokesman Major General Babar Iftikhar had claimed that PML-N leader and former Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair had met General Qamar Javed Bajwa, the leader of the Badri Army, and Nawaz Sharif, the leader of his party. He had two meetings with his daughter and PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz.

Muhammad Zubair later confirmed his meetings with the army chief but claimed that the purpose of these meetings was not to talk about any relief for Nawaz Sharif or Maryam Nawaz, nor did he talk to General Bajwa. They met as Sharif's representative.

Reacting to this, Nawaz Sharif further said, "Today I am issuing instructions to my party that any future member of our party should remind the requirements of the Constitution of Pakistan and the Armed Forces to abide by their oath." He will not meet with representatives of the military and relevant agencies at the individual, party or personal level.

Statement of DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar

Speaking to private TV channel ARY News on Wednesday, the army spokesman said that former governor Muhammad Zubair had met General Bajwa in the last week of August and again on the 7th of this month.

He said the two meetings were held at the request of Muhammad Zubair and were attended by Lt. Gen. Faiz, head of the ISI.

Major General Babar Iftikhar said that in both the meetings he talked about Mian Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz. Whatever discussions took place in these meetings, the Army Chief made it clear to them that whatever their legal issues would be resolved in the courts of Pakistan and whatever political issues they had would be resolved in Parliament. Should be kept away.

However, Zubair denied the claim, saying his meetings with the army chief were not intended to discuss relief for his party's leadership.

News that Nawaz Sharif's envoy's meeting with the army chief had been circulating since Tuesday evening, but Maryam Nawaz denied the allegations while talking to reporters at the Islamabad High Court premises on Wednesday morning. No representative of his father met General Bajwa.

Speaking on the program of journalist Asma Shirazi on TV today, Muhammad Zubair said that he has a 40-year-old relationship with General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

Muhammad Zubair said that his first meeting with the Army Chief was four hours long but he refuted the position of Major General Babar Iftikhar that DG ISI Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed was also present in the meeting.

The former governor said that he never once sought relief from the military leadership for his leadership nor did he tell him that he was sent by Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz or Shahbaz Sharif.

Muhammad Zubair said that the first sentence of his meeting with the Army Chief was that "I have not come to seek relief for myself, nor for the party, nor for Nawaz Sharif or Maryam Nawaz."

Muhammad Zubair added that during his meeting with the Army Chief, the economy was discussed for an hour and a half.

He had said that during the cases against Don Lex, Panama Papers, disqualifications and Maryam Nawaz, he had not once requested a meeting with General Bajwa nor was he asked by Nawaz Sharif or Maryam Nawaz to meet him. Go and meet

Referring to today's statement of DG ISPR, Muhammad Zubair had said that he did not know why DG ISPR had said this.

"It was not decided that it was secret, but there was no need to advertise it. So far no one was able to send in the perfect solution, which is not strange. I do not know why.
